Amrithagiri Eco Life Kerala (AEL) is an initiative dedicated to promoting traditional foods, sustainable agriculture, and community-based livelihoods through scientifically processed, value-added natural products. Inspired by the broader vision of Amrithagiri Himalaya, AEL seeks to preserve indigenous food knowledge while creating opportunities for farmers, women’s groups, and rural entrepreneurs.
The initiative focuses on developing high-quality products using locally available resources and time-tested practices, supported by hygienic processing methods and modern quality standards. AEL holds an FSSAI licence for food supply within Kerala and is expanding its regulatory approvals for interstate distribution and exports.
Our proposed product portfolio includes Kerala coffee, turmeric and arrowroot powders, herbal spice blends, traditional pickles, sun-dried vegetables (vattals), jackfruit-based products, Karkidaka Kanji mix, Daahasamini herbal drink mix, natural protein formulations, and millet-based products sourced from certified organic farms and selected Himalayan communities.
Beyond products, AEL is committed to strengthening sustainable livelihoods by collaborating with farmers, women’s collectives, and community organisations. Through responsible sourcing, value addition, and innovation rooted in tradition, we aspire to contribute to healthier lifestyles, stronger rural economies, and a more sustainable future.
